Stewart Harman
Stewart has skied for nearly all of his life, but has never raced. He loves skiing in the backcountry and escaping the lines and crowds. His favorite part of skiing has been teaching his four kids to ski and sharing his love of the sport with them. Stewart has one athlete and one coach on the team: Peer Coach Josh and Noah. Stewart is an attorney and practices in civil litigation and enjoys serving on the board to help the team grow and continue being successful.
Dan Penksa
Dan was born and raised in Las Vegas and grew up road-trippin to ski the mountains of Utah, falling in love with Brighton in the late 90's. After a decade at the beach in San Diego, the pull of the mountains brought Dan and his family to Salt Lake City full-time in 2021. For several years, Dan had spent much of his time in the backcountry, but is now happiest skiing the trees at Brighton with his daughter Ava (who is on the Team) and wife Natasha. Away from the mountains, Dan is a Finance Executive in the Life Sciences/Biotech industry and is a Certified Public Accountant. Dan is also a dedicated music junkie.
Stephanie Daigle
Stephanie was not always a skier, she took up skiing to keep up with her husband who is an avid winter sports enthusiast; and skiing tops the list. Their son Lucas started skiing and snowboarding as he could stand in the boots and they've been on the mountain as a family since. A few years ago, Lucas expressed an interest in ski racing which led them to Brighton Ski Team. Outside of skiing Stephanie loves to bake, hike, and spend time with her family and friends, especially over a good meal. Stephanie is Partner and Financial Advisor on a local wealth management team. She has a passion for solving problems and helping people. Stephanie is thrilled to be able to support Brighton Ski Team on a deeper level as a member of the board.
Brian Vukelic
Brian was born and raised in North Dakota, far away from the deep powder of the Wasatch Front. Skiing became an interest when he moved to Bozeman, MT for school. Life in the mountains and especially in the trees and on the slopes of Brighton turned into a passion upon moving to Salt Lake City with his family in 2017. Brian has two children on the team, Bridger and Hope, that thanks to the amazing training offered by the team, he struggles to keep up with. Off the slopes, Brian is a practicing Family Medicine physician who is also involved heavily in resident education. No matter if it’s carving the slopes of Brighton in the winter, slithering through slot canyons in the southern Utah desert in the Spring/Fall, or camping in the mountains in the summer, Brian thrives in the outdoors. He is excited to be a member of the board to help to continue to grow the BST and train the next generation of ski lovers.
Teana Error
Teana was born, raised, and has yet to move out of the great state of Utah. Growing up she learned how to shred the slopes at Cache Valley’s Beaver Mountain resort. After graduating with a degree in nursing she moved to Salt Lake City, where she met and married her husband Marc, and began discovering and enjoying the Cottonwood Canyons. Powder days, perfect corduroy runs, or tree exploring, all keep her wanting more each season. Skiing has had to take a back burner in life from time to time while attending college and starting a family. Three boys currently make up their family clan, two of which have been involved in the Brighton Ski Team for three seasons, and another joining Devo in 2024-2025. For Teana, it has been a pure joy to be able to share skiing with her children and watch as they have progressively dominated her ski ability thanks to the amazing coaching from the Brighton Ski Team. The only thing that can come close to the enjoyment of skiing in the mountains for Teana would be horseback riding in them. She has been an avid equestrian since before she could walk, and continues to enjoy that hobby years later. This season she will be watching more from the sidelines as her and her husband welcome a baby girl in January 2025! The Brighton Ski Team has offered her children unmatched opportunities, and she is thrilled to help keep this program thriving for more families to enjoy.
Natasha Penksa
Natasha spent over a decade snowboarding across California and enjoying the beaches before finally settling in Salt Lake City with her husband and daughter, leaving behind the long drives to reach the mountains they loved. Her daughter, Ava, joined the Brighton Ski Team after discovering a passion for skiing through Brighton’s Little Rippers program. Natasha now channels her administrative and marketing support into the Brighton Ski Team. Off the snow, Natasha enjoys backpacking, practicing yoga, going to concerts, and diving into various DIY projects.
