The Brighton Ski Team is committed to the highest standards of athlete safety. All Board members and team Staff undergo an annual U.S. Center for SafeSport training and a biennial background check per U.S. Ski & Snowboard requirements. In addition, Staff receives annual in-house training specific to athletes’ physical safety on snow and on upholding our socially healthy Team culture.

Should any member of the Brighton Ski Team community or local mountain community have a concern about athlete safety, we encourage you to reach out to us so that we can help resolve the concern.

If you have a concern that is a direct violation of the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP), we encourage you to report it directly to U.S. Center for SafeSport, as well. See the links below for more information.
